Printer woes

Back in February I bought a new inkjet which promised to cut printing costs by ‘up to 70%’.  The Epson EcoTank-2500 did cut costs but has proven to be rather fragile; several paper jams and now it won’t recognise paper in the in-slot.  So back it goes to John Lewis.

My book project is on hold till the printer is repaired or I get a new one.

In the meantime I am working on lino cuts and fabric designs, ready for next term. I am especially interested in Amafu prints from South Africa http://www.africanfabric.co.uk/fabrics-textiles/african-fabrics/amafu-south-african-hand-dyes which seem good for baggies. But these cotton prints are not easily available in long lengths, so I will be printing my own versions on organic cotton and bamboo/hemp mixes.
