The plywood RoRo toy ferry has been laser cut by Stuart at Cut & Burn, it came by post yesterday. I then spent most of the day working in Illustrator putting right the mistakes, improving the design and checking for any other mistakes. The toy is now much smaller than the original design; at just 160mm long x 90mm wide x 100mm high. Curving the sides has added structural tension and stability, but the 3mm thickness of the ply is a limiting factor, any smaller and it will not bend. Some further checks and improvements remain, mainly to the tab/slot assembly points.
